Surveys
MACC International Ltd provides specialist teams to conduct Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) intrusive and non intrusive surveys - we look for bombs, mines and unexploded munitions of all sizes. Our survey system employs sensitive magnetometers linked to computers to process the data and in the case of a non intrusive survey present the findings in an accurate, false colour map. Intrusive survey will present the findings as a graph.
MACC prides itself on producing accurate maps and data of affected areas enabling the precise identification and recording of contaminated land.

For clearance to a greater depth than 6m
Using either Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) or lined boreholes with a magnetometer interfaced with geophysical data logging equipment.
Post-processing can give location, depth and angle of item(s) found
Surface survey using magnetometers.
One and three channel geophysics survey equipment will detect ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic anomalies to a depth of approximately six metres, depending on their mass.
Post-processing will give an objects list denoting the mass, approximate depth and coordinate of the item(s) found
